this fairytale of sorts is running thru my mind.

you called earlier to tell me you're gonna "be home late". it's a little joke we've always had b/c we can never do the little things others take advantage of.
it's perfect in my mind the way it will be. the simplicity of it, i mean.
a quick call to say, "on my way over"... or "wanna see a movie tonite"... gives me butterflies to think that's just around the corner. we've never had that. only the big stuff, a lot of hardships, and a few trips to the beach.
how will it be? it seems it's gonna be so much easier to just have a little home-grown life together. we deserve it.
